Papadeli  guided wine tasting with tapas from the deli

Well, the June tasting was a great success with participants wanting to buy the wine and food package as gifts for friends! So we decided we’d do another.  This time it will be Papa guiding you through our delicious wines from the deli with a theme of minimum intervention and cheeses, charcuterie and fish to accompany.

The wines are different (except for the Vermouth which we couldn’t resist) and the tapas are similar to the last time (just a heads up if you’re coming for the second time!)

The wines:

The aperitif: Padro & Co Dorado Amargo Suave Vermouth

The fizz: Cava Brut Pere Ventura

Whites: Terres Hautes (organic Chardonnay) and Picpoul Chateau de la Mirande

Reds: Cerdo Grande and Como lo haría mi abuelo (my personal favourite – it’s magic wine!)

The tapas:

Valencian almonds fried in olive oil

Boquerones – fillet of anchovy from Cantabria

Prawns – the most delicious – with allioli

Charcuterie including Iberico, Cecina, chorizo with romesco

Artisan cheeses – a truffled Manchego, rosemary Manchego.

A super relaxed and convivial tasting with the chance to shop in the deli at the end and get 10% off.

Please arrive about 10 minutes early.  If you arrive late, please call 07785 328991.  There may be a delay as Papa will be presenting the wines.

No need to bring anything.
